HCS Annual Christmas Turkey Luncheon

Dear Families,

We are pleased to confirm that we will have our annual Christmas lunch on Tuesday, December 15th, on site here at the school. Our school council has once again offered its generous support. The school council offers financial support for various special events and programs throughout the school year. They will help support this event financially so that the cost for each child is reduced.

We are asking for $3 from each child to help offset the cost of the meal (with the school council picking up the remainder of the cost), which will consist of turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and a buttered bun. The food will be prepared by the Sherwood Restaurant and delivered to the school in single serving containers/covered plates. Staff members will deliver the lunches to the classrooms and will follow COVID-19 hygiene protocol.

We will begin serving the lunch after the a.m. recess, so we hope to have students begin eating by 11:45 – 12:00.

We very much look forward to sharing in the joy of Advent and Christmas and we hope that each and every one of our students will enjoy this delicious tradition being offered by our school community.
